Another great diver

This was my third purchase from Ocean Crawler, a Core Diver this time. Just like the Great Lakes Diver I got last year, the build quality felt really solid. The ceramic bezel clicks firmly, and the automatic movement has been keeping good time, as expected. Shipping took about 6 days to get to my place in California, which was pretty standard. I keep coming back because their watches are consistently well-made for the price.

Good value on sale

I waited for a sale and bought the Champion Diver during their anniversary event. The 20% off made a big difference for me. I also signed up for the newsletter first to see if I could combine discounts, but couldn't, which was fine. The watch itself is very good for what I paid. It's got a Swiss movement and the sapphire crystal feels durable. Delivery was free, which also helped with the overall cost. Felt like I got a good deal.

Good watch, decent service

I ordered the Dream Diver with a mesh bracelet. The ordering process online was straightforward enough, though I had a question about the water resistance rating and used their contact form. Got a reply within 24 hours, which was helpful. The watch itself arrived in a nice travel case, well-protected. Took 5 days to reach Denver. The fit and finish of the watch seemed high quality, especially the enamel dial. It's a bit heavier than I expected, but that's likely just a personal preference. Overall, a good experience, the watch is performing well so far.

Does anyone know if their return policy is a hassle? What if the watch just isn't quite right when it arrives?

R Rachel Hall 1 week ago
I returned one once cause the size felt weird on my wrist. It was surprisingly easy, got my money back no fuss.

Yeah, returns were easy. Just make sure you keep everything pristine and the tags on, like any store.

Are the watch sizes pretty true to fit? I have pretty small wrists and am worried about getting something that looks huge.

N Nancy Moore 1 month ago
They have a good range, some models are definitely chunkier. I'd check the case diameter and lug-to-lug measurements on the product page. That helps a lot more than just 'size'.

My Dream Diver felt a little bigger than I expected from the pictures, but it's still comfortable. Check the specs closely.

How long does shipping usually take for a watch from them? I'm in California and want to surprise my dad soon.

S Sofia T. 3 weeks ago
Mine got to me in about a week, maybe a bit less, and I'm on the west coast too. They ship pretty fast.

It was pretty quick for me in Texas, like 5-7 business days. Definitely not a super long wait.

Hey, thinking about grabbing a Champion Diver. Anyone know if they actually use Swiss movements in these or is it just 'Swiss parts' kinda deal?

R Richard 1 month ago
Yeah, they use actual Swiss movements, at least in the ones I've seen. My Core Diver has an ETA 2824 which is solid.

R Rachel Moore 1 month ago
Most of their stuff is Swiss movement, sometimes assembled here in the US. Check the specific model description though, just to be sure.

I saw something about a military discount. How do you get that applied? Is it just a code or do you need to verify something?

S Stephanie Walker 4 weeks ago
I think you usually have to go through a verification service like ID.me at checkout, if I remember correctly. That's how most places do it.

J Justin Anderson 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they likely use a third-party for military verification. Just look for a button or link during checkout.
